Pre-Candidacy: Considering Seeking National Board Certification

This one-credit course is designed for teachers interested in National Board Certification. It provides information and understanding of the process and of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. Teachers may take this course either to prepare to seek certification or to decide whether to seek certification. It will be offered for one-hour of license renewal credit or graduate credit and will be offered once a month in January, February, and April in Des Moines and Cedar Rapids.
