This 1-credit hour course offers an in-depth exploration of social class and its impact on educational environments, helping educators define and contextualize social class within the classroom. Through interactive online tools like $Dollar Street and critical examination of local and global data, students will analyze income disparities and daily life at various economic levels worldwide. Participants will develop a lesson plan designed to foster students’ understanding of social class, economic inequalities, and the importance of global citizenship.
