NEA's Read Across America was created to instill in children a life-long love of reading, through books that celebrate diversity and inclusion. The year-round event culminates in Read Across America Day on March 2, but don't wait to start exploring!
Our Read Across America Calendar includes three recommended books per month—appropriate for elementary, middle-grade and teen readers—all related to a monthly theme.
