Our Treasurer

Kelly McMahon was elected treasurer in 2020.
Kelly McMahon

Kelly McMahon has been teaching for since 2002. She currently teaches kindergarten at Hoover Elementary in Cedar Rapids. Kelly joined Student ISEA at the University of Northern Iowa. She became an active member of ISEA at the local and state level upon returning to teach in Iowa from Wisconsin in 2011. 

Kelly has served as an ISEA organizer, Cedar Rapids Education Association (CREA) Executive Board member, CREA treasurer and ISEA PAC. Kelly served as one of Iowa's two NEA directors in from April 2018 – July 2020, when she was elected to serve as ISEA treasurer. She enjoys working with members while advocating for students, ISEA members, and strong public schools.
