Building Resilience and Focus: Mental Toughness for Young Athletes

This 1-credit, 4-week course is entirely self-paced and can be taken anytime between August 21, 2025 - August 20, 2026.

At a Glance

This course helps educators and coaches apply the core principles of mental toughness training—focus, confidence, resilience, and consistency—to teaching, coaching, and mentoring students. Using Mental Toughness for Young Athletes as the foundation, participants will explore how short, intentional mindset exercises can help students (and themselves) navigate stress, setbacks, and performance pressure. By connecting sports psychology to education, this course empowers teachers to cultivate classroom cultures that value effort, recovery, and growth over perfection.
