Creating a Play-based Early Childhood Classroom

At a Glance

This course examines how play-based learning builds essential cognitive and behavioral skills in children from birth to age 5. Educators will learn to identify developmental play stages and implement strategies that align with the Early Learning Outcomes Framework (ELOF). The curriculum focuses on balancing child-led play with foundational literacy to create an engaging, evidence-based classroom environment.
