Exploring: Classroom Health: Childhood Eating Disorders

This one-credit, two-month course is entirely self-paced and can be taken anytime between February 6, 2026 and August 20, 2026.

At a Glance

This class will explore the signs and symptoms of eating disorders, the red flags teachers and parents should be aware of, and the struggles people with eating disorders endure. Information will be presented on how educators need to react to students who display symptoms of eating disorders and how to build a safe and supportive network. Common eating disorder types will be explored, highlighting symptoms, treatment, and what educators can do to help the child/teen with an eating disorder.
