Finding Hope in Uncertainty

This 1-credit, 4-week course is entirely self-paced and can be taken anytime between February 10, 2026 - August 20, 2026.

At a Glance

Teaching can be overwhelming, but making a difference doesn’t have to be. In this class, participants will learn intentional steps to navigate the struggles of education. We will read Overcoming Education by Brad Gustafson, an elementary school principal in suburban Minneapolis. This book blends intriguing research, powerful data, inspiring stories, and practical exercises to guide educators through complex challenges. We will practice five fluencies that form a framework for overcoming education and finding hope in uncertainty.
