So, You Think You Want to Quit? Transitions!

This 1-credit workshop will be a hybrid format with in-person meetings and online engagements and is scheduled for October 11 and 18, 2025, from 9:00-4:00 p.m. each day.

At a Glance

This 1-credit workshop is designed for educators (teachers and education support professionals [ESPs]) at any stage of their career in the classroom who are considering their future and contemplating a move out of the classroom. The goals of this workshop are to help teachers examine their career development, identify what inspired them to become teachers, acknowledge the challenges they are facing, and consider the possibilities for their professional futures. Participants will interact with long-term teachers and teachers who have successfully navigated out of the classroom and into other areas of education. The goal is to provide participants with the information needed to make decisions about their own career paths.
