Unraveling Word Recognition through the Science of Reading (Scarborough's Reading Rope)

This 1-credit, 4-week course is entirely self-paced and can be taken anytime between August 21, 2025 - August 20, 2026.

Do you want to dive deeply into the Science of Reading? In this course, participants will delve into Scarborough's Reading Rope, a Science of Reading model essential for developing proficient readers. Emphasis will be placed on three critical components: phonemic awareness, decoding, and sight words, each playing a pivotal role in reading fluency and comprehension
